Fakta Fiber started back in 1972 first of all as a boatyard. Fakta Fiber fishing vessels is still known as quality brand.
Approximately 50% of the production was sold to the Greenland marked and most the vessels are still sailing in the cold waters of Greenland.
The rest of the production was sold in Scandinavia, but also a few vessels vent to the Faroe Islands and Spain.
A number of pleasure yachts were also built in the company in those years.

In the early nineties all production where moved to new facilities in Latvia. The original facilities in Ålbæk/Denmark are today mainly used as administration office and store. We still keep a workshop working for service and repairs
